For many people, God doesn’t seem real at all. It’s sometimes also easy for some Christians to feel as if God might be there somewhere, but he’s too busy running the universe to really just stop and care about them. Continue reading “Stopping God”

‘Hercules’ Actor Kevin Sorbo Joins Professor John Lennox on Faith Exploration
By: Laura Bennett
John Lennox is rare amongst his fellow career mathematicians. If anyone shouldn’t admit having certain questions about her faith and her God, it seemed she shouldn’t. Continue reading “Waiting on God Through the Questions”
Heaven is a Symphony Playing All Around You. Here Are Three Ways to Hear it
By: Sheridan Voysey
I was once asked to do a radio debate with an atheist. One of the criticisms my counterpart raised was that Christianity had been reduced to a faith that was only interested in getting people to heaven, instead of a faith that changed this life too. While the criticism wasn’t entirely fair (it’s hard to think of an institution today that hasn’t been founded or shaped by the faith), I had to agree that in some cases she was right. Christianity is so much more than getting people ‘up there’, even if some televangelists would have you think otherwise. Continue reading “Heaven is a Symphony Playing All Around You. God Can Handle Our Honesty
By: Jennie Scott
Scalding water beat on my back as I rested my forehead on the shower wall. The tears falling down my cheeks mixed with the water from the shower, and one was as hot as the other. Continue reading “God Can Handle Our Honesty”
