These delicious, easy cherry and coconut muffins are moist and soft with a light almond flavour. I’ve made them with fresh cherries but frozen whole cherries can be used. The muffins were my hubby’s idea after we were gifted a large box of fresh local cherries. I know he was pleased with what I created as I found the empty container.

An All-Purpose seasoning to add flavour to a plain piece of meat with no effort. It’s not only delicious sprinkled over meat, chicken and fish but try it sprinkled over your cooked eggs or an omelette. By making your own seasoning, you miss out on the anti-caking agents and flavour enhances added to so many store-bought seasonings. Use organic herbs and spices where possible.

These snowballs are a quick and easy festive treat. I’ve used cacao butter with just a little coconut oil to give a delicious white-fudge flavour. Maple syrup or honey can be used as the sweetener but my preference is 100% maple syrup as honey can tend to overpower other flavours. The cacao butter will help hold your snowballs together during our warm Aussie Christmas but it’s still best to serve them straight from the fridge.

When you live in a hot place like Western Australia at Christmas time, these delicious gingerbread balls are a better option than baking. They really hit the spot with their spicy ginger flavour. This healthy snack is not only gluten and grain-free but is also vegan.

This is a simple one-pot chicken dinner full of flavour. The sauce is packed with vegetables and immune-boosting chicken broth. Serve this delicious smoked paprika and herbed chicken over low-carb cauliflower mash. The whole family will love it and it makes the best left-overs.

I love this soup recipe because it’s so quick and simple to make. The spice ginger has an exotic, peppery flavour which goes so well with mild flavoured butternut pumpkin, giving the soup a little kick. Ginger root is known for its therapeutic properties since ancient times, its powerful compounds called phenols have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

This is a deliciously moist bread with a yummy coconut-orange icing. The flavour and moisture are reached by using fresh orange juice, zest, zucchini and sweet spices. When you’re given fresh oranges and zucchinis, it’s the perfect time to create a new recipe, I’m sure you will love this bread as much as my family does.

These crisp clusters of Paleo Granola are delicious served with almond milk and fresh fruit. They are also the perfect topping to sprinkle over coconut yoghurt or chia puddings. For a variation, you might like to add some diced organic dried apricots or sultanas to your granola mixture.

These muesli bars are crunchy eaten straight from the fridge and a little bit chewy when left at room temperature. They have a hint of a sweet and salty flavour and the drizzle of dark chocolate on top makes them even more delicious. They are easy to make and are idea for when a healthy snack is needed on-the-go.
